Jordan Griffin is a 2019 1B/3B with a 6-1 230 lb. frame from Rehoboth, MA who attends LaSalle Academy. Large frame with very good strength throughout body. Hits from narrow stance with slight hunch over, strides open some and approach is centered up the middle. Shows advanced levels of strength in swing, generates solid bat speed. Showed off good power to opposite field gaps, good strength off the barrel when timed up and squared well, swing has some leverage against front side. Worked out defensively at 1st base. Showed solid fielding actions with good hands, fielded everything cleanly that was hit to him. Has comfortability around the 1st base bag with footwork. Quick exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, made consistently accurate throws to both 2B and 3B, with throws topping out at 65 MPH. Very good student.
