Ryan Hernandez is a 2017 1B/3B with a 6-2 225 lb. frame from Hyde Park, MA who attends Dexter HS. Has a strong build with room to fill out and add strength. Hits from an open stance with a high back elbow. Shows quick hands to plate with good barrel control. Showed good strength in swing and ball jumped off barrel with carry. Mid field approach, will drift to front side early, shows good bat speed. Has tools to develop at plate. Defensively, has a long arm action with carry across diamond. Feet work well and comes through ball well. Good Student.
