Alexander Timp is a 2017 RHP/MIF, 3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Dubuque, IA who attends Wahlert HS. Medium frame, slender build, room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional strength. Ran a 7.81 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a low 3/4 arm lost, loose unorthodox arm action, quick tempo delivery, ball comes out clean, deceptive delivery, hides the ball well. Fastball generates a lot of arm side run. 11/5 slider, slurvy shape, good depth. Changeup also has arm side run, works down in the zone. Good command with all three pitches. Arm and body have projection. From the infield, solid range, athletic actions, low arm slot, developing looseness and feel. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a tall stance. Aggressive swings, small load, middle of the field approach, swings on a line drive swing plane, solid balance and extension. Good student.
