Ethan Clark is a 2020 SS with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Tigard, OR who attends Tigard HS. Slender young build, has the beginnings of some present strength with lots of room for more. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a low hand start, has a simple and repeatable load and swing, short and direct to the ball with good extension out front, works the middle of the field and can drive the ball in the gaps. Second base actions on defense, works well through the ball with some side to side agility, compact arm action from a lower slot, made accurate throws in drills and games and plays under control. Also pitched, has sound directional mechanics he repeats well, threw strikes with a mid-70's fastball and short slider. Good fundamental player who will continue to improve as he gets stronger and faster. Excellent student.
