Zach Collins is a 2019 C/OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends Westfield. Medium frame, athletic and physical frame with present strength especially in the lower half. Ran a 7.27 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sits low in crouch, gets out of stance quickly, fluid exchange from glove to hand, quick release with accuracy to the bag, developing arm strength, 2.03 second best pop. Righthanded hitter, wide base with a slight crouched and closed stance, high hand set and a high back elbow, good rhythm to swing, line drive swing plane with some barrel skills, meets the ball well out in front, solid finish, mostly line drive contact with the ability to hit the ball to all fields. Great student.
