Canon Chester is a 2022 1B/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Sinton, TX who attends Sinton HS. Physical and athletic build with present strength and strong lower half. Displays raw power in the bat with consistent hard contact with easy effort in his swing. Creates extension through contact with natural lift in his swing path. Has present arm strength at first base and is comfortable with the glove. 7.56 runner that can still develop footwork in the field. Also pitched, easy delivery with minimal effort that maintains direction to the plate. Short arm action with a high 3/4 arm slot that reaches an extended release out front. Fastball topped at 77 mph, with arm-side run and slight sinking action. Curveball has tight rotation with 11/5 shape, with improved command it flashes as a potentially above average pitch. Good student.
