CJ Horn is a 2018 C/3B, OF with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Smithson Valley HS. Recorded a 7.40 second 60-yard dash. Physical frame with good strength and has athleticism and flexibility. Primary catcher with a low set and gets on top of the ball with good carry on throws. Very good arm strength recorded up to 81 mph across with an impressive pop time of 1.84 seconds. Gets the ball out quickly with a quick release and exchange. Secondary infielder with foot quickness and the arm strength plays nicely. Third base actions with present athleticism. Secondary outfielder who carries weight through release well. Online accurate throws with a longer release. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Wide base and open stance with strength through the lower half. Downhill swing plane with a longer path to contact. Shows carry off the barrel when squared and worked from a gap-to-gap approach.
