Jonathan Winn is a 2019 3B/MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Fresno, CA who attends Clovis West. Medium frame with an athletic build and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Ran a 7.03 sixty yard dash. Primary third baseman with smooth paced footwork while working to the baseball. Stays low while funneling the baseball out front with fundamentally sound glove actions. Flashed good range to each side. Worked through exchange quickly and released from a three-quarters slot. Throws generated accurate, on line carry across the infield topping at 85 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, balanced stance and high back elbow set. Displayed a loose, fluid hand path to contact while employing a naturally lifted barrel plane through extension. Generated good jump off the barrel when squared producing solid carry to each out field gap. Good student as well. Named to the 2018 California Prospect Showcase, Top Prospect List.
