Keegan Vercoe is a 2016 OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from San Tan Valley, AZ who attends Poston Butte HS. Medium, athletic frame with a long and lean build, projects with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.10 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, short and quick steps to the ball, small crow hop to gain momentum, hooked arm action with high release, does a nice job of getting on top of throws with present strength to delivery accurate throws. Left-handed hitter, starts with a wide and slightly open stance and a high hand set. Big leg kick trigger for timing and gets it down in time consistently, short swing path to the ball with nice present bat speed. Creates leverage at contact with lift and separation out front. Repeats swing well, shows nice carry and strength to pull side with occasional extension out front. Excellent student.
