Tyler Causey is a 2019 SS/RHP, OF with a 6-5 180 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Nation Ford HS. Recorded a 7.14 second 60-yard dash. Very tall and lean frame with long limbs and tons of physical projection. Primary shortstop who throws from a sidearm slot with clean hands. Arm strength shows promise with solid transfers. Spread open stance at the plate and swings with intent to drive the baseball. Showed the ability to pull hard line drives. Very good power potential and the ball jumps off the barrel. Explosive swing and the power should only improve as he adds strength. Named to the 2017 Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect Team. Outstanding student.
