Brenden Baxter is a 2019 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Rochester, MN who attends John Marshall HS. Slender young build, square shoulders. 7.73 runner, has good balance through the ball and soft hands fielding it, can quicken release but makes accurate throws with some carry. Right handed hitter, moves into contact will with a short downward swing, contact approach, keeps things simple and repeatable. Also pitched, fastball topped out at 77 mph, short stride out front and tends to get off balance at release. Should keep improving with additional strength and repetitions.
