Emmanuel Arias is a 2019 SS/C, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Miami Beach, FL who attends Miami Beach Senior. Medium frame with an athletic build. Project for additional size with strength. Primary shortstop with fundamentally sound footwork while surrounding the baseball. Clean glove actions and works through transition with smooth paced, fluid exchanges. Looked to change arm slot while throwing on the run, primarily released from a high three-quarters slot. Throws produced on line carry across the infield topping at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and large leg lift trigger. Lower half worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose, extended path to contact with an uphill plane through extension. Flashed some strength while utilizing a gap to gap approach. Looks to connect with baseball out front and swung with intent to lift the baseball. Tools will continue to develop with physical maturity and repetition. Excellent student.
