Langston Cross is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Bowie, MD who attends Charles Herbert Flowers High School. Medium frame, large build, strength, compact lower half, and ability to refine frame. Posted a 7.65 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, gained momentum into throws, athletic actions, loose arm, clean fielding actions, and raw arm strength with accuracy. At the plate, started with an open stance, medium hand set, high back elbow, and a toe tap timing mechanism. Showed quick hands with torque through lower half and barrel tip to accelerate bat speed. Ability to drive with a swing that works up through the zone and impact off the barrel. Also pitched, online delivery, long arm circle, good extension, deception, and threw from an over the top arm slot. Fastball worked 74-77 mph with true action, generating weak contact. Curveball sowed 11/5 shape with depth and developing sharpness.
