Henry Rinkewich is a 2008 2B/3B/P with a 5'8'', 180 lb. frame from Keyport, New Jersey, who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Rinkewich has present strength in his body. Defensively he has solid hands in the middle of the diamond with a quick transfer on his throws and turning double plays. He has a clean release on throws and he gets rid of it quickly. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from a crouched stance. Rinkewich uses a short and simple swing, and centers the ball well with consistency. He has gap to gap pop. Rinkewich has present hitting skills, and shows the ability to hit to all fields. There is easy weight shift. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a balanced and quick delivery. His fastball topped out at 75 mph, and he mixes in a sharp CB at 64 mph. Gets sinking action on his CH at 65 mph. Rinkewich hits his spots with his pitches.
