Jack McCullough is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Gurnee, IL who attends Warren Township. McCullough has a long lean build with room to fill out and add strength to frame. Long arm action in back with an easy arm action. Minimal effort to delivery. Has 3/4 arm slot with an extended release point. Stays online with simple repeatable delivery. Fastball has arm side run down in zone. Curveball showed 2/8 shape and spin with some sweeping action. Showed a developing change up. Hit from a slightly open upright stance with a wide base. Gets good extension through the ball with a solid lower half which is linear to ball to start then gets good hip rotation. Defensively, long smooth arm action, good athletic actions to ball with good footwork. Has accurate throws. More velocity in body on mound and from OF. Excellent Student. Verbally Committed to Army.
