Andrew Delacruz is a 2018 SS with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Litchfield, IL who attends Litchfield HS. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Switch-hitter, similar approach from both sides with a crouched stance and a good shift into contact. Shows better present bat speed and feel for contact from the left side, line drive path and plane from the left side with solid contact to all fields. More contact oriented primarily to the opposite field from the right side. 7.23 runner, has quick and active feet on defefense in the middle infield, stays balanced and works through the ball with quick actions, quick exchange and makes accurate throws with some carry to them, polished fielder with solid middle infield tools and actions. Excellent student.
