Nathan Patton is a 2016 3B/2B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Carrollton, TX who attends Shelton HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. Good footwork on defense, moves well laterally to both sides, has one spot quickness and is light on his feet, makes accurate throws, solid overall on defense. Right handed hitter, stays open, backside hitter, simple load and swing mechanics, stays short to the ball, mostly pull contact and has good feel for the barrel, higher average approach. Very good student.
