Hudson Wood is a 2018 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Carrollton, TX who attends Shelton HS. Has an extra large frame, lean build, long limbs, and strength to size. Posted a 7.45 second sixty yard dash. From the mound, has long arm action with a clean arm circle through the back while throwing from a three-quarters slot. Slight crossfire in delivery germinating good cutting action on his fastball. Curveball showed 10/4 slurvy shape. From the outfield, fields the baseball out front with a good first step to the baseball. Easy arm action on throws with arm strength up to 79 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter that stays short to the baseball with an inside hand path to the baseball. Ball jumps well off the bat and when squared has power to all fields. Strength and power clearly stand out as loudest tools presently. Good student.
