Kyle Collinsworth is a 2016 C/OF with a 6-2 172 lb. frame from Pitman, NJ who attends Pitman. Collinsworth has a long lean build with room to fill out. Hits from an open stance and gets to slightly open on stance. Short stride to start swing, has quick line drive swing plane with solid pull side contact. Does good job staying inside the baseball and stays compact at swing. Good balance through swing. Makes consistent contact. Defensively, low set up behind plate, quick transfer and release with a short arm action with accurate throws to the bag while gaining ground on throws.
