Wynn Corliss is a 2006 RHP/OF from Sequoyah HS in Woodstock, GA, with a 6'1'', 180 lb. frame. On the mound he throws from an over the top arm slot with good downward plane on his pitchers. He has long arm action on the backside of his delivery. Corliss uses a drop and drive style and stays balanced and online throughout his delivery. His fastball topped out at 80 mph with arm side life and sink. We didn't see a curveball from him, but he threw several changeups around 68 mph. Offensively he is a right handed hitter who hits from a slightly open stance. Corliss has good bat speed and power potential. He displayed this power with a homerun in batting practice and several other hard hit balls. He is an aggressive hitter with a rock back load and attacks pitches. Corliss runs hard on the bases and plays the game the way it should be played. He is also a very good student.
