Greg Strickland is a 2018 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Millbrook HS. Recorded a 7.03 second 60-yard dash time. Medium build with present physicality on the frame. Primary righthanded pitcher with a leg lift above the belt and a loose, whippy arm action. Good follow through on the front side and comes right at hitters. Attacks hitters with his fastball that was up to 86 mph, recorded up to 87 mph in the past, with very good sink to the pitch. Fluid delivery and maintains momentum through release. Drop and drive through the lower half to push off mound. Works the fastball to both sides of the plate with good life. Sets hitters up nicely and pounds the strike zone. Slider flashes late bite and got stronger as the outing went on. Located pitches extremely well particularly to the glove side. Named to the 2017 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to Brown. Tremendous student.
