Alec Buonasera is a 2018 3B/1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Richardson, TX who attends Plano West HS. Big strong build, fairly mature physically for his age. Right handed hitter, leg lift trigger, gets loaded well, back side hitter, rotational upper half strength oriented swing, looks to pull the ball, power approach and swing will get long at times, can impact the ball when it's squared up. Sound fundamental field actions at third base, fields the ball out front and works through it well, has some arm strength from a rotational release, sound overall on defense. Very good student.
