Pellerin is a 5'11" 170 pound 2006 outfielder and left handed pitcher who attends Laguna Hills High School in Laguna Hills, California. He has a strong frame and build with sloped shoulders definitive of a pitcher. He keeps his hands back but tends to wrap his bat somewhat. He does have a balanced swing and stays inside the ball very well. A compact simple swing allows him to spray the ball to all fields with some decent power. Sean is also a good fielder in the outfield. He is very aggressive on ground balls and keeps good balance. He has an above average arm throwing 83 from the outfield in the workout. On the mound, he has smooth mechanics and an effortless delivery. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm path and thorws downhill. Pellerin has very good depth on his changeup that cuts into right handers at 66 mph. He has some good action on his fastball at 81 mph and a decent break on his curveball at 69 mph. He works very quick and is especially tough on left handers.
