Gage Dotson is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Centerville, TN who attends Hickman County HS. Tall and lean athletic build, some present strength with plenty of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch, over the top arm slot, repeats delivery well with some fall off to the first base side on release. Threw almost all fastballs during his outing, upper 70's and mostly straight with good downhill angle, works to his glove side well. Right handed hitter, has some strength in his swing with some bat speed, tends to get too inside in his hand path and will dive at the ball looking to hit opposite field, has the strength to open up his swing and drive it to the pull side. Good student.
