Parker Evans is a 2016 2B/IF with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Pine Creek. Medium, athletic frame with slender young build and very good physical projection remaining on body. Ran well, posting a 7.30 seconds 60 yard dash time. Shows short, inside swing path at the plate with quick hands and balance throughout hitting mechanics. Slightly open stance with busy front side, comes through cleanly and makes consistent line drive contact to the middle of the field with overall projectable hitting tools. Fields cleanly in the infield, showing solid hands and good, athletic ability to charge and field cleanly to either side. Showed accurate arm across the diamond, topping at 69 MPH velocity and throwing accurately from multiple arm slots. Profiles very well at 2B moving forward. Good student.
