Judson Ward is a 2020 1B/OF with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Herndon, VA who attends Chantilly. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Hits from even base with toe tap trigger and high back elbow, gets into lower half well, strength is evident, has violence in his hands at contact when on time, good power to pull side, has impact offensive upside due to raw power. Primary first baseman, bounces off bag well, clean feet both on and around the bag, clean hands out front, turns well, clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Also took outfield reps, moves in on the ball well, glove works off to side, works through and stays balanced, clocked up to 81 mph on throws. Very good student.
