Chris Jenkins is a 2020 RHP/2B, 3B with a 6-0 173 lb. frame from Mansfield, MA who attends Mansfield. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.24 seconds. Hits from narrow-based, slightly open stance with hands and back elbow both set high, draws hands back into high barred load, leg lift trigger with longer stride, middle-field approach with line drive swing plane, can impact the ball pull side. Worked out in the infield, solid athleticism evident through actions, moves well to both sides, fields cleanly, takes exaggerated crow-hop into throws, clocked up to 81 mph. Also pitched and threw well, quick delivery with athleticism standing out, good direction to the plate, lengthy arm stroke up to high three quarters slot, filled up the bottom of the zone, fastball worked 82-83 mph, also showed solid-spinning curveball.
