Brett Swift is a 2019 3B/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Salisbury, MD who attends James M. Bennett. Large frame with broad, sturdy build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.74 seconds. Exaggerated leg lift trigger when hitting, big pinch between front knee and elbow, foot down early, flashes bat speed with uppercut path, intent to drive the ball into the air, flashed strength off when squared up. Worked out in the infield, shows ability to field cleanly to forehand and backhand, winds up and throws from lower slot near waist, arm strength clocked up to 80 mph. Also pitched, slings it from three quarters slot, upper body delivery, fastball worked 71-76 mph with good arm side life, showed curveball with good depth, threw both pitches for strikes. Very good student.
