Brendan Van Belle is a 2016 3B/2B with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Glen Mills, PA. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and nice present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, shows nice actions charging in on balls, short arm action through the back side, gets on top of throws and accurate across, arm strength will continue to develop. Left-handed hitter, starts with a narrow stance and a still hand set. Strong wrists in swing with nice bat speed coming through, controls the barrel well with ability to hit line drives to opposite field. Length to swing but balanced finished and has the comfort to hit to all fields. Good student.
