Tyler Jackson is a 2022 C/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-10 158 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends North Springs Charter. Medium and young frame, athletic with room to fill. Ran a 7.34 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the plate with a quick release, gains ground into his throws accurate throws with carry down to second base, average arm strength that will improve as he fills out, solid foundation to work with and project upon defensively. Secondary right-handed pitcher, takes a small side step into a quick turn with tempo to his operation, quick arm action at take back up to a high 3/4 arm slot, fastball topped out at 77 mph and can land it to both halves, mixes in a curveball with good shape and bite that works as an out pitch for him. Right-handed hitter, wide base and open stance in the box, toe taps for timing with a deep hand load, direct with hands to the baseball, gap to gap approach with a high finish. Good student.
