Lyle Fini is a 2017 C with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from West Des Mones, IA who attends Dowling Catholic HS. Very strong athletic build, powerful upper body, looks like a football linebacker. Right handed hitter, uses strong lower half well to help generate bat speed, balanced and calm swing approach, long and smooth swing with very good bat speed, shows pull pop and the ball comes off his barrel hard, swings with intent. 7.62 runner, showed good flexibility and a low set in drills but tended to set up too high in games, young catching footwork and skills, has some quickness but still working on consistency, has the athleticism to keep improving defensively. Good student.
