Shep Hancock is a 2020 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-3 235 lb. frame from Sharpsburg, GA who attends Trinity Christian School. Large frame with present strength to the frame that's well-proportioned throughout. Primary first baseman who turns well off the bag with present athleticism. Good arm strength across and moves well at the position. Soft hands and gets on top of the ball. Funnels well with good accuracy. Secondary righthanded pitcher who graded out as best from the position. Side step into a belt high leg lift. Very low effort with a loose, easy arm stroke. Stays online with the arm through release. Fastball topped out at 87 mph and mixed in a 12/6 breaking ball. Gets over the front side well and releases out in front. Can improve with additional usage and drive through the lower half. Lefthanded hitter with an uphill swing path, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Lower hand set and creates torque through his hips and lower half. Pull side approach with some pop. Good student.
