Dawson Shibley is a 2017 2B/SS/3B with a 6-0 157 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Conroe HS. Medium frame, athletic build with room to fill out. Right handed hitter, large leg lift trigger and stride out. Small hand drop load, swing plane is slightly uphill, swings hard and flashes some bat speed with fluidity and looseness. When extended shows ability to drive the ball with developing power. Solid actions in the infield, short, measured steps to the ball with solid agility. Energetic release on throws, some carry across the diamond with accurate throws from various arm slots. Solid athlete with long, graceful strides, shows some footspeed when underway. Ran a 7.19 second 60-yard dash. Excellent student.
