Brooks Gorman is a 2020 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends Tattnall Square Academy. Medium build, lean and highly projectable frame with square shoulders and a high waist. Ran a 7.25 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, waits back on baseball, playable actions, stabbed at backhand, solid exchange with an extra step into release, low arm angle into throws with average arm strength and carry to the bag, topped out at 81 across the diamond. Also pitched, online and balanced delivery, short arm action to a high 3/4 arm slot, some deception in windup with multiple moving parts, likes to work quickly, attacks hitters with a well located fastball early in counts, fastball is mostly straight, still currently a thrower but with time to develop. Lefthanded hitter, wide base with a high hand set, leg lift trigger, slight weight transfer, uphill swing path with some effort, showed good ability to handle the low ball but struggled some with pitches up in the zone, good looking young prospect with some refining and development still to come.
