Kale Litzelman is a 2017 OF/LHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Hotchkiss, CO who attends Hotchkiss. Medium-large frame with present build, projects. Closed stance and creates coil in the top half on load. Fast front side on pitches in, and shows some strength and bat speed to pull side. Shows the ability to hit the ball the other way when top have coil is reduced. Long, clean arm actions in the outfield topping at 78 mph. Shows some good glove work through the baseball, has a tendency to field ball from a uncomfortable location at times. Also pitched showing a long arm action from a high 3/4 slot. Gets downhill well and creates good arm side run on fastball ranging from 75-78 mph, topping at 79 mph. Flashed a 11/5 curveball with depth when staying on top of offering that can drop on backfoot of right handed hitters, topped at 63 mph. Creates some deception with an exaggerated leg lift and hides the ball well.
