Luke Schwartz is a 2017 2B/SS with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Desert Vista. Schwartz has a smaller frame with a thin lean build. Defensively he has active feet on the infield with high energy actions. He has clean transfers and cuts off his finish some out front. Schwartz has arm strength up to 74 MPH with accuracy. At the plate, Schwartz starts with an open stance and uses a hand load to start his swing. He has a short swing and made solid line drive contact to the pull side. Schwartz has a high contact approach and gets some back spin on his line drives. He runs well and got down the line well in games. Very good student.
