Noah Harlan is a 2018 OF/MIF/RHP with a 6-4 152 lb. frame from Knoxville, IL who attends Knoxville HS. Large frame with long, lean, highly projectable present build with solid athleticism throughout. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.62 seconds. Switch hitter, sets up to hit from right side with wider-based stance with lower hand set, compact hand path with direct stroke, has natural loft in swing with good shift into contact, solid contact with all-fields approach. Similar set up from left side of the plate, hands set close to body, gets on lofted swing plane with hands and takes barrel through the zone with solid bat speed, pulls the ball with some authority and shows good ability to work back through the middle. Worked out defensively in a pair of spots. Moves to ball well in the outfield, fields cleanly out front and works quickly into crow hop, shows solid arm strength with carry to target up to 76 MPH. Shows good first step to both sides in the infield, fields cleanly one-handed with glove fluidity, transfers well and shows good accuracy across the diamond up to 76 MPH. Very good student.
