Conner Moniz is a 2020 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Fall River, MA who attends B M C Durfee. Medium frame with slender build; body projects well. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.53 seconds. Primary pitcher; simple and compact delivery with good online direction, small arm circle through the back to overtop arm slot. Fastball worked 68-71 mph with slight cutting action. Worked in curveball with 12/6 shape and gradual depth. Was consistently around the zone. Bars hands back into load when hitting, shifts well in lower half, sinks into hips, has smoothness to barrel on line drive swing plane, showed ability to work to all fields. Worked out at 1st base, solid footwork with good balance on pivot throws, quick release, clocked up to 67 mph. Very good student.
