2015 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase
William Proctor, Jr is a 2016 OF/3B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Germantown, MD who attends Clarksburg. Medium-large frame with excellent present build throughout body; good room on frame to continue filling out. Hits with simple toe tap trigger and simple shift into contact, very strong bat to ball skills with good barrel control and hand-eye coordination. Quick trigger with excellent hands, generates good bat speed, has smoothness and fluidity throughout hitting mechanics, good extension through contact with separation. Made consistently hard line drive contact to all fields, swing flashes lift, will continue to grow into more and more power. Worked out defensively in the infield. Showed clean actions both moving to and fielding the baseball, shows athleticism in gather/crow hop, longer and clean arm action with solid arm strength, IF velocity topped at 81 MPH. Named to 2015 Atlantic Coast Top Showcase Top Prospect List. Good student.
