Garrett Danford is a 2019 2B/C, 3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Grand Ridge, FL who attends Sneads. Medium build with some strength present on the frame especially in the lower half. Ran a 6.81 second 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman who took reps in the infield, waits back on the baseball, fluid actions to the ball that could be quicker, clean and quick exchange from glove to hand into a quick release, average arm strength topping out at 81 mph across the diamond. Secondary catcher, quick mechanics with an explosive lower half, similar to infield drills with quick exchange of ball from glove to hand, accurate arm and throws with intent, 1.91 second best pop. Righthanded hitter, hands are very quick and direct to the baseball, generates lots of hip torque into swing and it shows up with results, juice in his bat with present bat speed, squared up balls when on time and the ball jumps, took a very good round of batting practice that included a home run and it showed up in game as well hitting another home run.
