Robert Magnus is a 2017 OF/1B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Central HS. Medium frame, athletic build, room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. From the outfield, aggressive charge through the baseball, leans back on throws, developing arm strength, accurate throws. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a spread stance. Swings on a line drive swing plane, small load, aggressive swings, gap to gap approach, raw pull side power, developing lower half, generates some lift at the point of contact. Excellent student.
