Peyton Weisskopf is a 2017 RHP/SS/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Springville, AL who attends Springville HS. Has medium athletic build with room to fill. On the mound, low 3/4 to side arm delivery, long loose arm action. Arm side run on fastball and change up, keeps the ball low. 10/4 spin on curveball. Off speed command still developing. Mixes pitches well, attacks the zone. Defensively, showed short-arm action across the infield with velocity reaching up to 78 MPH. Behind the plate, had solid arm strength with long arm action. Can see improvements from gaining ground forward rather than standing up. Offensively, switch hitter that starts with a normal stance and an aggressive approach. Swings hard off backside, pull-heavy contact, developing balance.
