Eddie Dopkowski is a 2017 OF/MIF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Anthem, AZ who attends Boulder Creek HS. Has a medium frame and slender build, room to fill out physically as he puts on additional muscle. Posted a 6.84 60-yard dash, moves well. From the outfield, charges the ball well with athletic actions. Has short arm action on throws with solid carry and arm strength, up to 80 MPH. At the plate, starts with a low hand set close to the body. Has a toe-tap trigger with some front foot coil. Developing timing and strength through the point of contact, mainly opposite field approach. From the right side, similar stance and same inside hand path to the baseball. Good barrel control from both sides of the plate with a good two strike approach. Will see even more hard barrels as he continues to put on additional strength. Outstanding student.
