Chris Freese is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Tualatin, OR who attends Tualatin HS. Large framed lean athletic build, lots of room to get stronger, projects very well physically. 7.63 runner, gets to the ball quickly and works through it well, long over the top arm action, accurate throws with some carry. Right handed hitter, upright stance, gets hips coiled well, tends to get hands started late but has some hand quickness, looks to work the middle of the field, should improve with additional strength. Also pitched, long extended arm action, smooth delivery, tends to pull off front side at release. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, works mostly glove side due to early front side, fastball gets some running live. Tends to slow arm on off speed pitches. Young athlete who should continue to improve.
