Jayson Longacre is a 2021 2B/RHP, 3B, SS with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends The Westminster Schools. Large frame with a high waist and long limbs. Slender build and has some projection moving forward. Ran a 7.17 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary second baseman. Fields out front with clean actions working towards the bag. Athletic movements surrounding the baseball. Creates some carry from a longer action topping out at 80 MPH. Righthanded hitter with a wide stance and high hand set. Short heel lift trigger for timing. Drifts onto the front side into contact with linear actions. Gets loaded into a bar. Middle of the field approach creating some jump off the barrel when squared. Has some hit tools to work with moving forward. Secondary righthanded pitcher with an easy and controlled delivery. Small rocker step into a leg lift above the belt. Solid direction to the plate with minimal effort. Looser arm circle in the back and getting into a high three-quarter arm slot. Reaches extension with a full follow through. Fastball has some easy arm side run topping out at 81 MPH. Also mixes in a changeup with solid speed differential at 69 MPH. Very good student as well.
