Joshua Keating is a 2019 3B/RHP, C, 1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Johnson. Large and physically mature frame. Ran a 7.19 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield with mostly clean footwork, comes through it some while minor adjustments to momentum into throws could be made, hands are playable out in front, shuffles into a release with good arm strength, topped out at 86 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, high energy delivery beginning with a leg lift up to his belt, takes arm back to a compact arm action up to an over the top arm slot, fastball topped out at 81 mph with short sink down in the zone, mixed in a 12-6 curveball with some downward action to it, flashed a developing changeup. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a slightly open stance, easy trigger into his swing, simple and repeatable stroke with strength at contact, could utilize his lower half more into swing for additional pop and bat speed.
