Timothy Halasnik is a 2017 1B/RHP with a 6-1 214 lb. frame from Jackson, NJ who attends Jackson Memorial. Large, athletic build with a long and broad build with present strength through frame. Primary first baseman, shows and short and compact arm action, shows strength on throws around the bag, will continue to develop arm strength across. Also pitched, shows an up-tempo delivery on the mound with a longer arm action through the backside and a high three-quarter arm slot. Gets downhill well and shows a quality feel for three pitch mix. Worked quickly, fastball topped out at 78 mph while slider shows tilt and changeup shows fade. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and an even stance, shows an aggressive approach. Upper body swing, barred at start of swing, shows an easy with solid raw power off the barrel and loud contact when squared off the barrel. Hardest contact is to pull side. Very good student.
