Drew Macciocchi is a 2020 2B/SS, OF, P with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from West Chester, OH who attends Archbishop Moeller. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Ran a 7.01 sixty-yard dash. Primary second baseman with active footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Funnels out front and worked through exchange quickly. Baseball came out of hand clean and flashed the ability to throw with accuracy while on the run. Left handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and sweeping front side trigger. Created good linear shift into contact with lower half. Looked to stay behind contact and employed a naturally lifted barrel plane through extension. Displayed good feel for the barrel while working to the middle of the field and the opposite field gap. Projects for additional pop to the gaps with continued physical maturity. Very good student as well.
