Maxwell Pate is a 2019 OF/2B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview HS. Small build, compact frame with broad shoulders and plenty of room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.20 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, quick to the ball with good footwork, plays the ball low to the ground with balance throughout, some carry to throws with average arm strength, topped out at 78 from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, even stance, leg lift trigger, good weight transfer into the point of contact, long hand path to ball, has a lift in swing looking to lift, middle of the field contact, would like to see increased barreled contact and strength added for more pop. Great student.
