Luke Kahle is a 2016 C/MIF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from St. Charles, MO who attends Francis Howell HS. Compact strong athletic build. Low flexible set up behind the plate, has athletic quickness and stays low and direct in his shifting, good raw arm strength from a compact release, can be more consistent on his receiving and exchange. Also played the infield in drills and looked athletic there with soft hands and a quick release, would likely be solid at second base. Right handed hitter, leg lift trigger, gets off balance at time in his load, line drive swing plane with good bat speed, ball comes off the barrel well, like his defense was not consistent in his mechanics but has the physical tools to keep improving with repetitions. Good student.
